Festival Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest Winners

The pumpkin pie baking contest took place Thursday on the Pumpkin Stage. Sixteen bakers competed to be named the best pumpkin pie baker. The judges were Jeff Miller, Mike Potter, and Lynn Spizenski. The pies were judged on appearance and taste.
Liz McKelvery organized the event. Johnson Family Pottery sponsored the contest. First, Second, and Third Places received a custom pottery pie plate donated by Luke Johnson, owner of Johnson Family Pottery.
