Barnesville Police Chief Rocky Sirianni shared the following September department activities with the village council on October 6:
o Calls for Service – 263 (Barnesville Dispatch, 229; Central Dispatch,34)
o Barnesville Dispatch Log Entries – 371
o Western Division Offenses (10). Felony, 2; Domestic Violence, Assault, 1; Other Drug, 1; OVI, 1; Juvenile Offenses, 3.
o Mayor’s Court Offenses – 20
o Traffic Stops – 71
o Call Records – 23
o Total Crash Reports Completed – 10
The police chief’s report notes that Calls to Service include emergency calls, calls that an officer was dispatched to/responded to, traffic stops, arrests, etc. And Barnesville Dispatch Log Entries include all other interactions such as on station complaints or inquiries, calls to Barnesville Dispatch that did not warrant an officer response, non-police complaints or inquiries such as Water, Street, etc.
