Western Belmont County excerpts from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Call Logs covering various dates from October 4 through October 8 are reported below.

October 4, 2025

1:43 am — Mile Marker 208, eastbound Interstate 70. A deputy gave a male driver a ride to Love’s, because his truck had run out of fuel.

2:44 pm — Main St, Morristown. The caller advised that a female was high and was looking into cars at the ball fields. Deputies responded. During the investigation, the female struck her grandma. The female was transported to jail.

8:44 pm — National Road, Morristown. Deputies responded to a call about two male juveniles fighting. One male was transported to Sargus.

10:11 pm — 2nd St, Lafferty. There was a 911 hang-up call with no response to the call back. Deputies responded, and it was an accidental call.

October 5, 2025

4:10 am — Mile Marker 202, westbound Interstate 70. A deputy gave a warning for marked lanes and speeding.

6:41 pm — Washington St, Somerton. The caller stated that she was having problems with her neighbor yelling things at her. She was advised to obtain a Civil Protection Order.

11:45 pm — N Main St, Bethesda. There was a 911 hang-up call. The caller advised that he and his wife were arguing and that he was leaving. A deputy responded and spoke with the wife, who corroborated the husband’s story. The husband had already left.

October 6, 2025

8:50 am — Reservoir Hill Rd, Flushing. The game warden had told the caller to get a deer carcass receipt from the sheriff’s office for the 10-point deer skull found in the woods while squirrel hunting. The deputy issued the receipt to the caller.

11:04 am — Nikki Lynn Dr, Belmont. A man came to the station to report his lost wallet. A deputy spoke to the man and advised that the sheriff’s office would have a call record about him losing a black wallet near the former Jamboree on St Rt 40.

2:28 pm — Willow St, Bethesda. Deputies reported to the reported location to investigate a complaint. The deputies made negative contact with the male.

6:14 pm — Bond Rd, Belmont. A deputy responded to an alarm drop at a local business. All was secure on inspection.

October 7, 2025

7:36 am — Pineview Dr, Belmont. A deputy responded to an accident with no injuries. The deputy created a crash report.

10:41 am — West St, Holloway. The caller was an Akron police officer living in Holloway. The caller advised that a Chevy Impala with two male occupants seemed to be casing open garages. The caller has not seen the vehicle since but wanted to report the information. He spoke to a deputy who created a call record.

1:29 pm — Union Local Schools, Morristown. The caller explained that her vehicle, which her son was driving, was struck by another vehicle on 9/25 by another student driver. The caller collected the appropriate information, but has not been able to communicate with the striking vehicle’s insurance. The deputy advised the caller to continue attempting to submit the evidence to the insurance company to proceed with the claim.

6:37 pm — Long Run Rd, Bethesda. Two deputies and the Chief of the Bethesda Police Department responded to a domestic trouble. One arrest was made for domestic violence and transported to the Belmont County Jail.

7:01 pm — Pilot, Belmont Morristown Rd, Morristown. A deputy responded to an accident involving two trucks. A crash report was filed.

October 8, 2025

2:14 am — N 26 Rd, Morristown. On patrol, a deputy did a business check. All windows have cages and locks. A northwest lock was found on the ground. Nothing appeared tampered with.

12:33 pm — Belmont Morristown Rd, Belmont. A dad called the school principal and wanted to speak with a deputy about threats. The deputy called the principal and learned that no direct threats were made. The deputy also called the father and checked on the child.

5:33 pm — Pancoast Rd, Morristown. A deputy delivered information from a Colorado Department.

10:16 pm — 208 Exit Ramp, westbound Interstate 70. During a traffic stop, a deputy warned the driver of speeding.

10:56 pm — 208 Exit Ramp, westbound Interstate 70. The deputy issued a warning for speed to a semitruck driver.
