October 9, 2025
12:00 am — Eastbound Interstate 70 Rest Stop, Belmont. A deputy issued a warning for speeding to a semi-truck driver.
12:15 am — Eastbound Interstate 70 Rest Stop, Belmont. A deputy issued a warning for speed.
2:20 am — Marker 208 Off-Ramp, Westbound Interstate 70, Belmont. A deputy issued a warning for speed.
2:38 am — Bel-Morr, Morristown. A deputy issued a warning for following too closely.
7:40 pm — Love’s, Belmont. Two semis behind the store were involved in an accident. A deputy took information for a crash report.
October 10, 2025
5:04 pm — Ault Rd, Belmont. There was a 911 hang-up call. A deputy made contact with a male and learned that the call was accidental.
5:39 pm — Badgersburg Rd, Bethesda. Two males had a dispute involving the custody of the kids. The caller decided not to proceed with any charges. Deputies went to check on the kids but were given the wrong address.
7:18 pm — Kirkland Hill Rd, Jacobsburg. During a 911 call, dispatch heard static on the line, and then it disconnected. There was no answer, and negative contact was made at the location.
8:08 pm — Pilot, Morristown. An accident occurred between two semis. There was damage to the passenger side mirror. The party that struck his semi left before the deputy’s arrival, and the caller stated that they denied striking his semi. There is a call record on file.
10:56 pm — N Main St, Bethesda. The caller reported an accident where his car was struck by another vehicle. Since the incident occurred on private property, the parties were going to exchange information.
11:54 pm — Barnesville Bethesda Rd/Old State Route 147, Bethesda. A young driver was warned for defective equipment.
October 11, 2025
5:40 am — E High St, Flushing. An alarm dropped at a local business. While the deputy was en route, the key holder called to cancel the police response. Everything was okay.
5:51 am — Mile Marker 210, Westbound Interstate 70, Belmont. A deputy was out with a disabled vehicle. The driver stated that they had hit a deer and were waiting for the Ohio State Patrol.
7:06 pm — Barnesville Bethesda Rd, Bethesda. The caller reported a car with two people in it arguing. Deputies and a Bethesda Unit responded. One person was having a mental crisis. The deputy followed the car back to Barnesville. No medical attention was necessary.
October 12, 2025
1:45 am — Bethesda-Belmont Rd, Bethesda. The Bethesda squad requested a deputy for a possible forced entry into a residence. The responding deputies were able to make contact with the male, and no further action was required.
9:08 am — National Road, Bethesda. The caller reported an assault. The deputy took the juvenile into custody and transported them to Sargus.
8:21 pm — Bank St, Flushing. The caller was concerned that three males were throwing fireworks while they arm wrestled on Depot Street. A deputy was dispatched, but no contact was made.
October 13, 2025
5:10 pm — National Road, Bethesda. A deputy was dispatched to deal with a runaway juvenile. The juvenile came back after the deputy’s arrival.
October 14, 2025
12:17 am — Main St, Morristown. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the roadway with no lights. The deputy found that the vehicle was occupied and off to the side of the road. The vehicle was overheating. The driver had someone on the way to help.
2:40 am — Love’s, Belmont. A deputy took information for a crash report. Two semis struck each other.
8:07 am — Love’s, Belmont. A deputy investigated a call about a male and the caller being harassed and threatened by his ex-girlfriend. The male has a temporary protective order. There was no interaction between the two parties. The deputy advised them to seek legal counsel.
6:41 pm — W Main St, Holloway. A deputy was on special detail at the town hall meeting.
9:02 pm — Sandy Ridge Rd, Barnesville. The caller reported multiple goats were in the roadway, and they did not know who or where these goats belonged. The owner was identified, and the goats were safely returned to the barn.
10:45 pm — Morristown. A technician working on the business site left the gate half open. A truck driver entered the lot, and the trailer got stuck on an excavator. A deputy took information for a crash report.
October 15, 2025
9:10 am — Union Local Schools, Morristown. On special detail, a deputy handed out child ID packets.
9:33 am — Barnesville Schools, Barnesville. On special detail, a deputy handed out child ID packets.
10:35 pm — Exit Ramp 208, Westbound Interstate 70, Morristown. A deputy dealt with a traffic offense.
