Papa D’s Pizza Shop Opens Second Location

Staff at the new Papa D’s Pizza whip up fresh pizzas, breadsticks and more for customers in the Morristown area.

The new Papa D’s location opened on Sept. 25 in Morristown at 66665 Belmont-Morristown Rd., replacing the former DiCarlo’s Pizza shop. Owner Quinton Crosby’s first pizza shop, started by his family, opened in 2013 and is located at 165 E. Main St., St. Clairsville. The hours for the Morristown location are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 3:30-9 p.m. Sunday.

Papa D’s Pizza in Morristown serves pizza, breadsticks, calzones and other delicious items. Papa D’s also sells prepackaged pepperoni rolls at area gas stations.

Crosby said he wanted to expand the shop to another good location. Having the shop next to the Union Local School campus has proved to be a good choice. The school district has been placing many orders for sporting events and other school activities since the shop opened.

Next to the pizza shop, in the same building, is a former frozen yogurt shop that Crosby is considering as a coffee shop location in the future.

Crosby said Papa D’s delivers, which is something Morristown area residents aren’t accustomed to. “We’ve heard a lot of people talk about how excited they are for the delivery option,” he said, “and we have been making a lot of deliveries.”

Crosby said the shop is really busy, “as good as someone can ask for, business wise. ”Many people from the surrounding communities of Flushing and Belmont, have told him it’s nice not having to make a trip to St. Clairsville.

The shop can be reached at 740-213-2575.

“I want to help the community out with another food option,” Crosby said.
