Barnesville Bands & Choirs Performed to a Packed Auditorium
On October 21, the Barnesville bands and choirs presented their fall concert to a full auditorium of friends, family, and community members. Each musical group performed 2-3 pieces, directed by Mr. Devin Blair. The 2025 musical was revealed to the audience at the concert’s conclusion.
Intermediate Band
The Barnesville Intermediate Band began its performance with Oompa Loompa by Chris Bernotas. The second selection that the middle school band members played was Wrath of the Mechanical Monsters by Randall D. Standridge.

Chamber Band
The Barnesville Chamber Band began its performance with Der Erlkonig by Scott Watson. Next, the band members performed Colliding Visions by Brian Balmages. The band’s final piece was a crowd favorite, called The Great Locomotive Chase by Robert Smith.

Intermediate Choir
The second half of the fall concert started with the Barnesville Intermediate Choir. The choir sang Blackbird by The Beatles. Next, the choir members performed Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. The choir finished with Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield.

Chamber Choir
The Barnesville Chamber Choir started with Africa by TOTO, featuring percussionist Dalton Drake. The audience participated by clapping along with the students. Switching gears, the choir beautifully sang Music of the Night by Andrew Lloyd Weber. Barnesville graduate Devin Clouse joined the choir with his cello as the members sang Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper.
