Voters Decide Belmont County Levies
The Belmont County Board of Elections has posted the following unofficial tax levy totals. While the countywide mental health levy passed, a new maintenance levy for Union Local Schools, a revised continuous levy for the Village of Belmont and a new fire protection levy for Flushing Township were rejected by voters.
Countywide Mental Health Levy
1.25 mill renewal levy for 10 years, 2026-2035

Union Local School District Levy
2.0 mill new permanent improvement levy, continuous

Goshen Township Fire Protection Levy
.5 mill renewal levy for 5 years, 2026-2031 (excluding villages of Belmont and Bethesda)

Goshen Township Road and Bridge Levy
1.3 mill renewal levy for 5 years, 2026-2031, (excluding villages of Belmont and Bethesda)

Goshen Township Fire Protection Levy
1.0 mill fire renewal levy for 5 years, 2026-2031, (excluding villages of Belmont and Bethesda)

Village of Belmont Police Levy
3.0 mill levy renewal as a continuous levy starting in 2025.

Flushing Township Fire Protection Levy
2.5 mill new levy for fire protection with fire departments for 5 years beginning in 2025, first collection 2026.
