Western Belmont County excerpts from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Call Logs covering various dates from October 30 through November 5 are reported below.

October 30, 2025

8:26 am — Union Local High School, Belmont Morristown Rd, Belmont. A call was received about a disruptive student. As a deputy responded, the parents were also en route to pick up the student. The school was advised to call back if anything else was needed.

9:35 am — Marker 204 Westbound Interstate 70, Belmont. The deputy was at the location, dealing with an accident in which the airbags had been deployed. He waited until the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrived.

9:45 am — Pfeffer Rd, Barnesville. A deputy was en route to the address for a property exchange. All items were obtained.

4:31 pm — Union Local High School, Belmont Morristown Rd, Belmont. The caller requested the presence of a deputy the following morning at the school. The caller advised that he would wait for the deputy before confronting a staff member regarding his child.

7:50 pm — N Main St, Bethesda. There was a verbal argument involving a half-drunk female. The parties were separated. A deputy drove and dropped the female off at an address in St. Clairsville.

11:54 pm — Pilot, Belmont Morristown Rd, Belmont. While a deputy was at the gas station, a male asked him a question. The deputy advised the male that it was a civil issue.

October 31, 2025

7:48 am — Rock River Rd, Somerton. Two parties were in a verbal domestic situation. The female was concerned with the other party’s comments. The deputy confirmed that the male was okay and knows to reach out for help.

10:14 am — Union Local Middle School, Belmont Morristown Rd, Belmont. A deputy was on special detail at this location.

5:11 pm — Washington St, Somerton. A deputy assisted an Ohio State Patrol unit at the residence of a party to a domestic. There was fear that the other party would come back to the residence.

9:38 pm — Starkey Rd, Barnesville. The caller advised that there was a suspicious van with a ladder on top going up and down the roadway past his house. The responding deputy learned that the male was hunting in the area.

November 1, 2025

1:01 am — National Rd, Belmont. A deputy responded to an assault in a local bar. The caller refused medical attention. Information was taken for a report.

1:40 am — National Rd, Belmont. A deputy issued a warning for speeding.

8:54 pm — Stone Ridge Dr, Belmont. Deputies were dispatched to an underage party. Information was taken for a report.

10:11 pm — Captina Highway, Washington Township. A male caller stated that a physical domestic incident occurred with his intoxicated wife in front of a child. Child Protective Services were contacted.

11:43 pm — Perkins Ridge Rd, Belmont. A deputy assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with an ATV accident with injury. An ATV went over an embankment on the side of the road. The OSHP handled the crash.

11:46 pm — Kaczmarek Rd, Flushing. The caller stated that someone was threatening, via text, to come to the house. A female at the residence had left a boyfriend. The caller stated that he took a screenshot of her location at the residence and sent it. No threats were made.

November 2, 2025

6:04 pm — Muskrat Rd, Barnesville. Deputies responded to a mental health issue caused by the caller being off her meds. The daughter came and took care of the situation.

7:38 pm — National Rd, Belmont. A female got out of the building and was threatening a male staff member. With a deputy on the scene, she attempted to run away. The female was taken to Sargus.

10:00 pm — Dollar General, Belmont Morristown Rd, Morristown. A worker thought there were still people inside after closing up. The deputies cleared the building. No one was found inside.

November 3, 2025

11:56 am — Union Local High School, Belmont Morristown Rd, Belmont. A deputy took a harassment statement.

November 4, 2025

11:25 am — New Castle Rd, Beallsville. A deputy made contact with a person who submitted an email to the sheriff’s office. She stated that she ordered luggage from JC Penney. It was supposedly delivered by UPS and left on the back porch. JC Penney wanted her to get a police report even though she doesn’t believe it was stolen.

5:27 pm — Kaczmarek Rd, Flushing. Deputies investigated a complaint involving custody issues and several 911 calls that were lost due to bad cell service.

November 5, 2025

9:08 am — Hillcrest Rd, Barnesville. A deputy was en route to the above address for a call about people hauling dirt past his house when he did not give permission for this. No contact was made. The call was handled by a call back at 11:38 am.

12:09 pm — North Rd, Barnesville. The deputy investigated a 911 hang-up call. There was static on the line. Everything was okay.

1:16 pm — Rocky Fork Rd, Jacobsburg. A deputy assisted the squad for a male possibly in cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, the patient did not make it.

5:47 pm — Marker 207 Eastbound Interstate 70, Morristown. On a traffic stop, a deputy issued a warning for not using their turn signal.

7:35 pm — Pike 40, National Rd, Morristown. A deputy responded to a vehicle striking a deer. The deer was not located.

11:53 pm — Uniontown-Flushing Rd, Flushing. The caller reported a cow in the roadway, but no contact was made by the deputy.
