Shamrocks’ Division V Football Honors
CAMBRIDGE — Barnesville fared well in Eastern District Football Division V Football honors.
The teams are selected by media members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association from the Eastern District who make decisions based on nominations from head coaches and statistics compiled and supplied by the schools.


Barnesville tailback Trey Toliver is the Division V Offensive Player of the Year, while Barnesville linebacker Hines Ford shares the Defensive Player of the Year award.
Toliver, a junior, has helped propel the Shamrocks to the Division V Region 19 semifinals Friday night with almost 1,500 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns. Ford has racked up 140 tackles in 11 outings.
Other ‘Rocks honorees according to athletic director Brad Hannahs are:

- Cole Francis – DB

- Luis Garcia – K
- Koby Jones – 2nd Team RB
- Phoenix Graham – 2nd Team LB
