Christina Renee Merckle

Christina Renee Merckle, 43 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday November 18, 2025 at her home.  She was born in Canton, Ohio June 25, 1982 a daughter of Sheila Mellon Byrd and the late David Michael Byrd.

She was the general manager of McDonald’s of Woodsfield, Barnesville, and Caldwell, Ohio.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother Michael Adam Byrd.

She is survived by her Mother Sheila Byrd, three sons; Devon Harrell, Gavin Merckle, and Chase Merckle, and Samantha Velasco who she considered an adopted daughter, one brother, David Byrd, two nieces; Kate and Lily, and an aunt; Sandy Stover.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 pm Monday November 24, 2025 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.  Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in the Plainview Cemetery near Woodsfield.
