Belmont Couple Shares with Community with Jets Blessing Station
Rhonda and Tony Carkhuff at 200 E. Main St., Belmont, have set up food and gift blessing boxes on their porch and named it “Jets Blessing Station”.
The gesture is welcome with many in the area in need.
Friends and neighbors have joined in also contributing food and items also free for the taking.
The Carkuffs are no strangers to difficult times suffering two home fires and medical issues “and yet they still give back,” a neighbor who donated items to the blessing station said.
