November 28, 2025

9:56 am — Love’s Travel Center, Belmont. A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call. Everything was fine.

3:39 pm — National Rd, Bethesda. Deputies responded to an assault, which resulted in an individual being taken into custody and taken to Sargus.

4:54 pm — Hall Rd, Smith Township. Deputies responded to an active domestic issue. The couple left the address shortly after the dispatch in separate vehicles.

7:05 pm — Mile Marker 208, westbound Interstate 70. A caller reported a huge water container in the right lane, but the responding deputy did not find it.

8:21 pm — Hall Rd, Jacobsburg. A deputy went to the address and learned that the person involved in a domestic issue was on the property and left in a vehicle traveling in an unknown direction. At 9:21 pm, the person was located, and information was taken for a report, which will be sent to the prosecutor’s office.

November 29, 2025

7:33 am — New Castle Rd, Wayne Township. A male was knocking on the caller’s door, and the caller did not open the door. It was determined that the male was involved in an incident the previous night with the Ohio State Patrol. The male was located at the Beallsville Convenient Store.

November 30, 2025

3:53 am — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. A deputy assisted the Ohio State Patrol with a crash.

10:37 am — Belmont. Deputies, the coroner, and the chief investigator responded to a death.

December 1, 2025

6:32 pm — Jefferson St, Belmont. The caller requested a wellness check on his children, who are part of a CPS open case. A deputy found that the children are fine at this time and advised CPS about the findings.

8:51 pm — Pleasant Ridge Rd, Alledonia. The caller advised that an SUV was pulled off the road with two males sleeping. The caller woke them up and believed they were under the influence. The caller called back to inform Dispatch that the vehicle was now mobile and heading to SR148. The Ohio State Patrol was notified.

9:01 pm — Wright Rd, Barnesville. The caller reported that a white horse was on the side of the road. When the deputy patrolled the area, no horse was found.

9:29 pm — Main St, Holloway. The caller requested a wellness check on an individual. The deputy made contact with the person and learned that her phone was broken. She said that she would use her son’s phone to contact the caller to let them know that she is okay.

December 2, 2025

5:08 am — Barnesville-Hendrysburg Rd/Harry Dew Rd, Barnesville. A deputy went to the area to investigate a crash for the Ohio State Patrol. The deputy shut the road down at the hilltop, waiting for ODOT to treat the road. A semi truck got stuck on the hill at 6:22 am. The estimated arrival of the towing service was 1.5 hours.

5:15 am — W Main St, Barnesville. There was an alarm drop at a business location, detecting interior motion. The deputy found everything secure.

8:51 am — S Willow St, Bethesda. The caller stated that he was locked in his girlfriend’s vehicle. The girlfriend tried to break the window with a pipe. The deputies took both parties into custody.

10:03 am — E High St, Flushing. A deputy made a wellness check but made no contact with the individual.

2:39 pm — E Main St, Holloway. A deputy made a wellness check but made no contact with the individual.

3:50 pm — Shepards Hill Rd, Jacobsburg. A person wanted to report ongoing threats and harassment from a family member’s ex-boyfriend. The individual only wanted to have the information on file.

6:39 pm — W Main St, Holloway. A deputy found that all was well during a welfare check.

9:51 pm — Reco Rd, Belmont. A deputy investigated a 911 hang-up call. The deputy made contact with the front desk. The staff was unaware of any issues. It was determined that a juvenile was playing with the phone and accidentally called 911. The mother handled the situation.
