Barnesville Hospital Launches 2025 Annual Fund Drive to Support Telemetry Project
Press Release
BARNESVILLE – WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital has officially launched its 2025 Annual Fund Drive, which will support the Telemetry Project.
The initiative aims to upgrade critical telemetry monitoring equipment in the Clara Groves and John Sawvel Patient Wing, as well as the Richard L. Doan Emergency Department.
Nearly 80 percent of patients treated in these departments rely on advanced cardiac telemetry equipment for continuous, life-saving monitoring.
Thanks to generous community support though annual giving, foundation grants, and charitable contributions from the Clara Groves and John Sawvel Campaign, Barnesville Hospital is nearing its fundraising goal to purchase the upgraded equipment in early 2026.
“Barnesville Hospital welcomes the community’s support in this important project,” Donna White, Manager of Grants and Community Development at Barnesville Hospital, said. “Whether you’re able to give $100, $500, $1,000, or any amount, every contribution helps move this project forward.”
