December 5, 2025
4:23 pm — OK Rd, Belmont. A female came to the station to file a report of an incident that occurred on November 26. On that date, she was cooking and believed that her husband purposely spilled hot olive oil on her hand. She took herself to the emergency room for treatment. She advised that she told her husband that it was over and was moving out. She wanted the incident on record, but was not ready to file a statement.
4:36 pm — Groves Rd/Route 9, Smith Township. The caller stated that she was having issues with a neighbor hunting on her property. The caller continued that she had the property surveyed and had a paper copy to share with the neighbor who believes it is his property. She was advised that this is a civil matter. If there were any further questions or issues, she was to call back.
6:53 pm — National Road, Morristown. A juvenile male jumped from a van and ran. The staff was looking for him. The juvenile knocked on someone’s door, stating that he needed medical help. The juvenile went with the squad. A deputy took information for a report.
December 6, 2025
10:42 pm — Joe Jeffers Rd, Barnesville. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was investigating a crash and needed a deputy to go with them to this address.
December 7, 2025
12:21 pm — Shrader Rd, Beallsville. The caller requested extra patrols at his address until approximately March. His home has a locked gate and surveillance cameras.
December 8, 2025
7:51 am — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. A deputy responded to the address for a report of a tractor-trailer in the business’s lot and a damaged sign. The staff took care of the driver, who was having a medical emergency. Information was taken for a report.
9:15 am — Barnesville-Hendrysburg Rd, Barnesville. A deputy made a wellness check and made no contact with the individual.
10:11 am — National Road, Morristown. The deputy responded to a fight involving one male juvenile. Information about the incident can be seen in the report.
6:30 pm — Everett Turner Dory Mill, Bethesda. The caller stated that her daughter was at her house trying to steal things. The deputy determined that the situation was a civil issue.
December 9, 2025
12:12 pm — National Road, Morristown. A deputy responded to a report of a physical altercation between two females. After information was obtained, one female juvenile was transported to Sargus.
12:42 pm — Love’s, Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. The caller advised that his Xbox Series X was stolen from his truck behind the gas station. He wanted a record of the incident for his rental agreement.
3:27 pm — West Street, Holloway. A call about a missing juvenile was received. At 3:48 pm the juvenile was found and dropped off at 4:06 pm.
8:07 pm — Bahmer Rd, Barnesville. A deputy made a traffic stop. A warning was given for no license plate light, which is an improper display.
December 10, 2025
1:27 am — Union Township. The caller stated that her husband was at her residence even though she had a temporary protective order against him. He left in a vehicle. A be on the lookout for a possibly intoxicated male was issued. Information was taken for a report.
9:28 am — Flushing Township. A deputy patrolled the area.
9:38 am — Warren Township. A deputy on a compliance check special detail. Contact made.
9:39 am — Flushing Township. A deputy went to the address to do a wellness check for the JVS. The deputy made contact with the mom, who brought the juvenile down to let the deputy speak to them. The family did not have a working phone. The juvenile was okay.
9:57 am — Flushing Township. A deputy made contact during a compliance check and confirmed the residence.
10:00 am — Warren Township. A deputy made no contact during a compliance check.
10:10 am — Warren Township. A deputy on a compliance check special detail. Contact made.
10:24 am — Warren Township. A deputy made no contact during a compliance check.
11:01 am — The caller representing a law office called the sheriff’s office. She advised that she was sending a husband and wife to the office, per Joe Varga, to fill out written statements and file charges. The caller stated that she already had a thumb drive, which she would give to Mr. Varga. She further clarified that Mr. Varga needed the report sent to the Prosecutor’s Office for Menacing.
11:17 am — Flushing Township. A deputy made no contact during a compliance check.
11:26 am — Flushing Township. A deputy made contact during a compliance check and confirmed the residence.
11:39 am — Flushing Township. A deputy made no contact during a compliance check. The neighbor stated that they would be home after 3 pm.
4:07 pm — Goshen Township. A deputy on a compliance check special detail. Contact made.
4:23 pm — Goshen Township. A deputy made a compliance check but was unable to find the address.
