The Council for the Village of Flushing is accepting letters of interest for open council seats starting in 2026. Please submit your letter of interest to the attention of the Mayor:

at 120 High Street, Flushing, OH 43977, or by email to VillageofflushingMayor@gmail.com  or by placing the letter in the water payment box located outside the city building.

The deadline for submission is January 15, 2026.

Village of Morristown Oil & Gas Lease Instructions for Bidders

This is a request for proposals to enter into an agreement to lease the rights to extract oil, natural gas, and any and all constituents from lands owned by the Village of Morristown.  The subject acreage contains approximately .301 acres as listed on the Belmont County Engineer’s map; pacels 40-60016.000 & 40-60017.000.  The exact amount of acreage will be determined prior to executing any lease agreements.

Forms for interested lessees, available by contacting the village, are to be completed by listing detailed items. A proposal for all or any part of the subject property may be submitted.

The Village of Morristown has the right to accept or reject any and all proposals submitted in its sole discretion and is under no obligation to enter into a lease agreement with anyone submitting a proposal in response to this request.

Sealed bids must be submitted to the Village of Morristown, Mayor Heather Stitt, P. O. Box 241, Morristown, Ohio 43759, no later than 5 p.m. on January 14th, 2026.  The sealed bids will be opened and read aloud at such time.

Bethesda Institutes Online Payments

The Village of Bethesda is now accepting online payments for water/sewer bills, shelter rentals, Mayors Court Fines, and EMS Billings. A 3% fee added to the transaction that is collected by the card processor.

Ultimately, we hope this helps some residents who don’t want to write checks or make trips to the office and offer flexibility and convenience.
