Area 2025 Fire/EMS Annual Reports
Three area Fire/EMS departments have released the 2025 activities of their volunteers – Bethesda, Fairview and Lafferty.
Bethesda
There were 563 EMS runs, 85 fires responded to and 80 motor vehicle collisions. Non-emergency transports totaled 256, brining total calls for the year, 1,012.
Fairview
Fairview Fire Department 2025 emergency call numbers:
Total Department calls 384, up 100 over 2024 responses.
Total Missed calls (no crew available or on another call) 62, up 23 over 2024
Total calls responded to 322, up 77 over 2024
Fire
Total 69, an increase of 17 over 2024
Response rate 90%, – 8% under 2024
Rescue
Total 70, 6 fewer calls than 2024
Response rate 93% , – 1% under 2024
EMS
Total 252, an increase of 88 over 2024
Response rate 79%, – 1% under 2024
The department reminds citizens, they continually accepted new member applications with the goal of a 100% response rate.
LAFFERTY
The department responded to a record number of total calls for 2025. The totals are:
Fire Calls- 63
EMS Calls- 340
Total Calls- 403
