2026 Barnesville Village Board and Commission Appointments
The following appointments by Mayor Jake Hershberger were approved by Village Council at their meeting on January 12.
Board of Commissioners of Public Parks – Michelle McLaughlin and Nick Bauman were re-appointed to three-year terms. Other members are Leslie Shultz (school board), Ronna Allen and John Duch. (Village Ordinance 147.02)
Planning Commission – Councilmember Lindsay Dowdle was appointed to an open seat. Other members of the commission are Mayor Jake Hershberger, Brad Hudson, Chris Baker, Brad Hudson and Chase Milburn (Ohio Revised Code 713.01). Other members
Board of Appeals – Jim Jones was re-appointed to a two-year term. Other members are Terry McCort and Mike Starr. (Village Ordinance 1381.05 “d”)
Joint Economic Development Districts I & II (JEDD) – Terry McCort was appointed to both boards for a one-year term representing the village.
Fire Disability Pension Board – Robyn Misner and Lindsay Dowdle were appointed to one-year terms.
Board of Architectural Review – Linda Mayberry was re-appointed to a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2028. Other board members are Luke Johnson, Brad Hudson, Mike Sulek and Melissa Leach. (Village Ordinance 1361.06)
