Sandra L. Boulet

 Sandra L. Boulet, age 85, passed away on January 31, 2026.

Born on March 1, 1940 in Woodsfield, OH to the late Woodrow and Eva (Christman) Brownfield, she was a resident of Dalton for the past 64 years.  Sandra had retired as owner of Meadow Lane Country Store and had spent the last several years providing transportation to the Amish community. She had been past president of the former Dalton Chamber of Commerce and also past president of OFEA, working with the Dalton Holiday Festival.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary D. in 2013; brother, Byron (Joyce) Brownfield; sister, Naomi (Andrew) Conter.  She is survived by her children, Jeff (Eunice) Boulet of Whitehall, MI, Barb of Dalton; grandchildren, Samuel, Mark, Emily, Chelsey (Paul), Eric (Jaime), Andrew (Heather), and Nicholas; 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, OH 44618.  A private funeral service will be held by the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dalton Fire Dept., 146 N. Church St., Dalton, OH 44618.
