Misty Drake

Misty Drake, 46, of Bethesda, Ohio passed peacefully surrounded by love on February 5, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on January 23, 1980, Misty was the daughter of Donald and Lois Funkhouser of Loomis, Ohio.

She was a 1998 graduate of Union Local High School and the JVS. She had a compassionate heart and dedicated many years to caring for the elderly as a STNA, working at various local nursing homes. She had a passion for spending her time outdoors, watching wildlife, riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle and attending concerts with family and friends. She was a devoted mother, whose greatest joy was watching her sons grow into the young men they are today.

Misty was preceded in death by her father, Donald “Foxy” Funkhouser.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Shawn Drake of Bethesda, Ohio; her sons, Jacob Compher and Jonathan Compher, also of Bethesda; her bonus children, Liam Drake of Belmont, Ohio and Brittany Drake of Florida; her mother, Lois Funkhouser of Belmont, Ohio; her sister, Stacy (Robert) Morris of Barnesville, Ohio; nephews, Blake Morris and Chance Morris of Barnesville and numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719.
