Valentine Flowers Brighten Seniors’ Day
For a third-year running, members of the leadership team at WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital pitched in to help The Flower Garden’s owner, Shelley Rockwell, fulfill the flower shop’s Senior Valentine’s Day project.
The beautiful arrangements, 240 in all, were delivered Friday to residents at Emerald Point, The Enclave of Barnesville, Barnesville Manor, Russell’s Place, Russell’s Crossing and the Walton Home.

A post by the hospital team noted, “we are honored to support initiatives that spread kindness, brighten someone’s day, and remind our seniors just how valued and appreciated they truly are.
“We sincerely admire Shelley Rockwell and her team for their dedication and hard work in making this meaningful project possible for our local seniors.
