OHHC Receives Ohio Dental Association Foundation Grant
Press Release
BARNESVILLE – Ohio Hills Health Centers (OHHC) received a grant through the Ohio Dental Association Foundation to purchase dental equipment which will improve staff efficiency and our ability to increase access to comprehensive dental care for area residents. Funding was used to strengthen our dental program through the purchase of intraoral cameras, hygiene instruments for probing and cleaning, and surgical handpieces for surgical extractions.
“As our dental program grows it is essential that we have the tools to provide high quality, and comprehensive dental care for our patients,” said Dr. Robert Brewer, Dental Director, OHHC. “The equipment purchased through the grant funding from the Ohio Dental Association Foundation allows us to better meet the needs of area patients.”
OHHC recently added two additional dentists to their dental team to better serve area residents and to increase access to care. In addition, OHHC will soon be offering dental services at OHHC-Bellaire, the school-based health center, and at OHHC-St. Clairsville.
“The purchase of this equipment was generously funded by the Ohio Dental Association Foundation. Their support makes a real difference for our patients and the rural communities we serve,” said Jeff Britton, CEO, OHHC.
OHHC offers comprehensive dental services in Barnesville, Freeport, the Belmont Career Center and will soon be offering dental care in Bellaire and in St. Clairsville.
