Monday, February 9, 2026

8:53 am – officer on Cherry Street for a traffic stop.

10:26 am – individual on station filing a report on a vehicle that was struck.

10:41 am – officer on Mill Street following up on a vehicle accident.

1:20 pm – officer on East Main Street near Save A Lot for a traffic stop.

2:04 pm – officer on Harrison Street regarding a red truck parked in the middle of the roadway blocking traffic. Drivers are using the caller’s yard as a bypass.

3:49 pm – female on station with child to talk to an officer regarding a stolen Roblox card.

4:36 pm -female caller states she forgot to come to Mayor’s Court today.

4:46 pm – female caller reports her Facebook account has been hacked and the person who hacked the account is offering for sale a vehicle under her identity. The hacker has already received $2,000.00 from one purchaser and $1,900 from another. The money was sent to a cash App. She wants to know what can be done. Dispatcher advises an officer will contact her.

8:53 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street for a traffic stop. Citation issued to the juvenile court.

9:16 pm – 911 received a hang up call. Officer enroute and contacted male caller. He stated the call was an accident.

9:31 pm – officer assisting the Belmont County Sheriff’s department at the Micro Hotel in St. Clairsville. K-9 unit dispatched.

10:08 pm – officer on East Main Street near Save A Lot for a traffic stop.

Tuesday, February 10, 2026

8:47 am – officer on North Lincoln Avenue for a vehicle lockout.

9:56 am – officer enroute to BCI at London.

10:59 am – caller from Pine Lane asking if there is blasting going on in the area due to his house rattling and shaking randomly. Caller was told there is no known blasting in the area but explained  “frost quakes otherwise known as cryoseisms, occur when the temperature outside rises causing the tremors as the defrost happens outside”.

11:24 am – officer enroute from BCI at London.

1:09 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street for a vehicle lockout.

1:47 pm – officer on West Church Street for a follow up investigation.

2:46 pm – officer on East Main Street near Bethesda Street for a traffic stop.

5:02 pm – caller reports they have a broken valve and it’s flooding the bar. Water Department notified.

5:10 pm – alarm drop on West Main Street. Front door alarm. All is secure.

6:14 pm – male on station speaking to an officer regarding a trailer he bought and is having issues with the trailer.

7:22 pm – officer on West Church Street for a traffic stop. Warning issued for trailer lights.

8:30 pm – Monroe County Sheriff’s Department called stating they are enroute with a male hallucinating and they need an officer on scene. They also, stated that the male has a full extradition warrant.

9:57 pm – officer on North Chestnut Street for a traffic stop.

Wednesday, February 11, 2026

1:02 am – alarm drop on North Chestnut Street regarding a kitchen motion detector. All is secure and clear.

3:34 am – officer on North State Route 800 for a traffic stop. Warning issued for headlight.

5:10 am – officer on West Main Street for a traffic stop.

3:04 pm – individual on station regarding fraud/identity theft. Individual wants a background check completed.

1:04 pm – officer on East Main Street at the Pit Stop after a vehicle struck the building.

5:10 pm – caller from Morgantown Avenue requesting a welfare check for mother. Her caregiver is in the hospital and she is home alone. The caller, a daughter, is two hours away. Officer dispatched to the address.

5:54 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street near Convenient for a traffic stop. Warning was issued for expired registration.

Thursday, February 12, 2026

5:53 am – officer on Bond Avenue near Certified for a traffic stop.

6:41 am – officer on East Main Street near Wendy’s for a traffic stop.

7:08 am – officer on Neva Avenue checking on a student. Officer reports all is well.

8:28 am – alarm drop at a South Chestnut Street business. Front door and interior motions detected. An employee set off the alarm.

5:16 pm – office on Mulberry Street for a traffic stop. Warning given for no license plates.

6:33 pm – officer on North Arch Street for a traffic stop.

9:20 pm – officer on West Main Street near Dominos for a traffic stop. Warning given for no front and rear lights on a bicycle.

Friday, February 13, 2026

5:05 am – officer on Captina for a traffic stop.

5:36 am – officer on East Main Street near Belmont Savings Bank for a traffic stop.

 7:42 am – caller from Bethesda Street reports a golden retriever canine is walking around looking sad.

7:55 am – officer on East Main Street near Riesbeck’s for a traffic stop.

8:15 am – officer on East Main Street near McDonalds for a traffic stop.

9:07 am – officer on East Main Street near Save A Lot for a traffic stop.

1:44 pm – officer on South Lincoln Avenue for a vehicle lockout.

7:26 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.

9:28 pm – officer on Henderson Drive for a traffic stop. Warning issued for light.

Saturday, February 14, 2026

2:39 am – male brought a female to the station. She was found walking on State Route 800 seemingly confused. Contacted EMS for evaluation. Daughter picked up the female.

10:19 am – person on station for a private property report.

10:55 am -caller reports his son was threatened at Middle School yesterday. Person wants to know if police can catch it on the camera. The threat was that if the boy did not  break up with a sister, student would bring a knife to school.

3:45 pm – officer on Railroad Street for a traffic stop.

5:55 pm -officer on Mackey Drive for a vehicle lockout.

6:50 pm – officer on East Main Street near McDonalds for a traffic stop.

6:59 pm – caller from Mackey Drive reports it sounds like someone is breaking into her apartment. She hears sawing above her. She called back and stated that the sound was her neighbor’s television.

7:22 pm – officer on East Main Street near Save A Lot for a traffic stop.

7:26 pm – officer on East Pike Street for a traffic stop. Warning issued for a headlight out.

8:01 pm – officer on East Main Street near Belmont Savings Bank for a traffic stop.

8:24 pm – caller from Leatherwood Road reports they have eight cows loose. A trailer door accidentally opened and the cows got out. They are attempting to round up the livestock.

8:41 pm – individual on station reporting to an officer of a tanker truck in the Route 800 area for a possible illegal sewage dumping.

9:02 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street near East South Street for a traffic stop. Warning for no headlights.

9:15 pm – officer on Bond Avenue near Certified for a traffic stop. Warning for white light beam.

10.37 pm – caller reports seven of the cows have been rounded up but there is still one at large.

10:51 pm – officer on Tacoma for a traffic stop. Officer advised the driver to clean the license plate because it was not readable.

Sunday, February 15, 2026

3:57 am – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop. Warning for headlight.

6:10 am – officer on East Main Street near Save A Lot for a traffic stop.

4:01 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.

 5:13 pm – residential burglar alarm drop on North Street. EMS is at the same apartment for a medical emergency. Squad requests a lift assist.

10:22 pm – caller reports a cow around Legget Avenue running at large.
