Village of Barnesville Request for Proposals
The Village of Barnesville is accepting sealed proposals for the removal and repair or replacement of the existing clay tile roof system at the historic Barnesville Train Depot, located at 300 East Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
Bids will be accepted at the Fiscal Officer’s office, located at 132 N. Arch Street, P.O. Box 190, Barnesville, Ohio 43713, until Wednesday April 8, at 10:00 A.M. The bids will be opened and read aloud on the same date and at the same location.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked “Barnesville Depot Roof” on the exterior.

The Village of Barnesville Water and Sewer Committee will meet at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 31 in the council chambers of the municipal building

Barnesville Village Spring Newsletter
The Spring 2026 edition of the Village of Barnesville Newsletter is now posted online. In addition to many timely reminders that the village offers everything from a keyholder registry, to fingerprinting to a prescription drug drop off box at the police station; there are dates for village council meetings, the opening date of the pool at Barnesville Memorial Park, save-the-date information for the popular summer Fun In the Ville events, a fishing tournament, a chicken barbeque and safety day.

Sunsbury Township Mowing Bids
Sunsbury Township will be accepting bids for mowing of three cemeteries – Ozark, Trembly Ridge and 556 Captina for the 2026 mowing season.
For more information contact Matt Milhoan at 740-391-1836. Sunsbury Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids must be turned in to Sunsbury Township Office, 43207 Railroad Avenue, Beallsville, OH 43716. no later than April 2nd, 2026, at 6 pm at which time they will be opened and read aloud.

Sunsbury Township Dust Control Bids
Bids for supply and application of liquid asphalt for dust control on Sunsbury Township roads will be accepted by the Sunsbury Township Trustees.
Bid packets may be obtained by contacting Matt Milhoan at 740-391-1836. Sunsbury Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.

Malaga Township Mowing Bids
The Malaga Township Trustees are accepting bids for mowing and trimming the township cemeteries and township building lot.
Interested individuals must be 18 years of age and will be required to furnish all necessary equipment and fuel for the period of May-October 2026.
Bids are accepted until April 3.

The Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library Board of Trustees April meeting will take place at 7:30 pm, Wednesday, April 8th at 7:30p.m. at the Barnesville Library, 308 East Main Street.

Barnesville School Board April Meeting
It was announced at the March BOE meeting that the April monthly meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 at the Middle School Cafetorium.
The original scheduled meeting date was April 16.
