Barnesville Boys Basketball Held Awards Banquet

The 2025-26 varsity basketball season was a tough one, with a final record of 6-17. Head Coach Shane Stephens stated, “We had one of the toughest schedules in Division 5 in the state. Tough schedules build tough teams.” Coach Stephens continued, “Our overall record was not where the team’s goals were set, but there were a lot of victories within the team that only coaches get to see.”

When Senior Max Miller was asked about what he had learned from playing basketball, he said: “To play my hardest but have fun while doing so.” Senior teammate Ryker Willis said, “Basketball has taught me to fight through adversity.” This season taught Senior Dylan Blon “to enjoy the little things while they last because you don’t think about them until they’re over.”
