April Senior Citizens Newsletter

Senior Citizen Newsletter Online. The April monthly newsletter distributed by the Belmont County Committee on Aging is now available online free of charge.  Read the full publication here.          

In addition to local senior center activities planned for the month, the newsletter includes the monthly home and center delivered meal menus.

Features this month include:

  • “Stay Informed”, a senior citizens primer on the current hot topic in Ohio on property taxes
  • Introduction to the Ombudsman program for those facing the decision of selecting a long-term care facility
  • Meet Jennifer Brown who is the community outreach and new senior centers manager

There are four Senior Citizen Centers in western Belmont County:

  • Barnesville – 229 E. Main Street, Nik Sells, coordinator, and Kendra Blackstone, assistant
  • Bethesda – 118 S. Main Street, Maxine Jurovcik, coordinator, and Jodi Vincent, assistant
  • Centerville – 44642 Main Street (Jacobsburg mailing address), Bonnie Borovich, coordinator, and Renee Craig, assistant
  • Flushing – 208 High Street, J.B. Flood Jurovcik, coordinator; Lee Nichol, assistant
