Barnesville Shamrock Baseball
The Shamrocks opened the 2026 season on the road Saturday in a contest at Union Local. It was a hard-fought game that saw the Jets come out on top, 4-3.
The two teams meet again Monday evening at Barnesville Memorial Park.
DJ Butler enters his 20th season as the Shamrocks head coach. He is assisted this year by Cade Hannahs, Chris Hannahs, Jeff Miller, Brady Treherne and Joel Atkinson.
There are 10 returning lettermen among the 31 who are out for the 2026 team.
The 2026 roster includes:
Seniors – Jack Anderson, Dylan Blon, Keegan Martin and Max Miller
Juniors – Blake Burkhart, Aidan Caldwell, Braylon Lucas, Parker Sobutka, Cayden VanHorn and Brayden Watters
Sophomores – Jameson Aller, Cole Atkinson, Trey Bethel, Gunner Dudzik, Xander Gallagher, Kohen Showalter, Jaxten Swallie, Bobby Thompson, Jackson Van Fossen and Evan Wells
Freshmen – Jaxon Aberegg, Zander Ankrom, Colin Burkhart, Jack Carpenter, Rylan Donaldson, Dylan Gallagher, Ryder King, Knox Mankin, Owen Miller, Bane Stephen and Bentley Stephen
