Laura Louise (Sproul) Paugh

Laura Louise Paugh, 91, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026.  She was born on January 12, 1935, a daughter of the late Samuel and Emma (Ludewig) Sproul.

Laura was a homemaker, wife, and mother.   She loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, textile painting, and ceramics.  She was a member of the Lloydsville Methodist Church.  She collected owls and enjoyed taking walks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tex Paugh; and siblings, Peggy Sproul and Charlie Sproul.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rick (Reggie) Paugh, David (Sonya) Paugh, Sandra Paugh, Jerry Paugh; grandchildren, Chris (Rebecca) Bolyard, Trisha (J.R.) Palmer, Dwayne Paugh, Rick (Kim) Paugh, Dan Paugh, Dalton Paugh, Jessica (Harvey) Farver, Savannah (Bre) Brown; many great-children, and two great-great grandchildren.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719.  The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Detling officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
