Ann Daniese Tolliver

Ann Daniese Tolliver, 74, of Barnesville, passed away peacefully at Enclave of Barnesville on Saturday, April 4, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born on November 15, 1951, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Roger and Betty McKeen and was also preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Tolliver.

Daniese was a 1969 graduate of Union Local High School, attended Columbus Business University, and was a retired dispatcher and office administrator for several over-the-road trucking companies throughout her career.

She is survived by her sister, Donieta DeVine of Bethesda; her niece, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Reed of Batesville; and her ever-faithful Jack Russell Terrier, Trinkett.

A follower of Jesus and a lifelong Methodist, Daniese was known for her kindness and her love of walking through Barnesville, often covering 10 miles a day while visiting with neighbors, family, and friends along the way. She was also a mother to several beloved furbabies throughout her life and was always willing to spoil the neighborhood cats or any furry friend that happened to cross her path.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Forest Cemetery in Circleville, Ohio. Care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
