Shamrocks Overpower Big Red   

The ‘Rocks Varsity won their 5th game in a row at home Wednesday night soundly defeating Bellaire 14-3 in a five-inning contest.

Jackson Vanfossen recorded his first career varsity win pitching all five innings, allowing a mere three hits, striking out seven and walking two.

Barnesville tallied eight hits. They were led at the plate by Max Miller with three hits. Gunner Dudzik contributed two hits while Cole Atkinson, Dylan Blon, and Blake Burkhart added a hit apiece.

Barnesville is 5-1 on the season and return to action at Cambridge Thursday night.

JV Team Falls to Steubenville 2-1

At Steubenville, the Junior Varsity Shamrocks lost Wednesday night to the Big Reds in a close, low scoring contest. The current team season record is 3-3. They next play at home at 5 p.m. Friday evening, hosting the Cambridge Bobcats.
