Eileen K. LaFollette

    Eileen K. LaFollette, 80, of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

     She was born near Lewisville, Ohio on the family farm on April 15, 1945 a daughter of the late Roscoe Frederick Anderson and Amy Mildred Lafferre Anderson.

     She was a homemaker, a former co-owner of the former LaFollette’s Furniture, Lewisville, Ohio and a clerk at the former KV store, Woodsfield, Ohio for many years.  She was also a member of the former Bracken Ridge United Methodist Church and the former Lewisville Methodist Church, Lewisville, Ohio.

     Eileen enjoyed sewing, quilting, painting, farming, gardening, wood crafting, ceramic crafting, making candy, baking, cooking, loved mowing the yard, playing Words with friends on the computer and spending time with family.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Lynn Gallagher; and infant brother, Dale; a brother, Earl Anderson and a sister, June Johnson.

     Surviving are her husband Robert “Bob” LaFollette whom she married on September 25, 1965; three daughters, Anita (Jeffery) Schenerlein of Malaga, Ohio, Lisa (Kenneth) Oliver of Summerfield, Ohio, Jennifer LaFollette of Woodsfield, Ohio; two sisters, Helen Cline of Lewisville, Ohio, Joann Robertson of Lewisville, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Derek (Brittani) Christman, Whitney Christman, Cody (Nichole) Gallagher, Grant Carpenter, Kelsey (Rick) LaFollette, Logan (Bryanna) Gallagher, Jordan (Avery) Carpenter, Macie Schenerlein; eight great-grandchildren, Jolie, Harrison, Huxton, Ansley, Colt, Lincoln, Jentry, Ellis; several nieces and nephews.

     A private visitation will be held at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio. A cremation will follow with inurnment held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
