WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital and Woodsfield Savings Bank have teamed up with the Village of Barnesville and the Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce to showcase holiday banners.
“We have really enjoyed partnering with our Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Woodsfield Savings Bank on this special project,” Donna White, manager of Grants and Community Development, said.
“We all wanted to remind our community to support our small businesses this season, and we think that the banners are the perfect addition, showcasing the ‘Eat, Shop, Support Local’ motto of our Barnesville community. Jill Hissom and John Rataiczak do an outstanding job throughout the year with this message, and we each wanted to help support their mission with these festive holiday banners.”
The banners are displayed throughout downtown Barnesville just in time for the holiday
season.
“The Barnesville Chamber of Commerce was delighted to be invited to participate in the holiday banners,” Jill Hissom, executive director of the Barnesville Chamber of Commerce, said. “We encourage our community to support local businesses not only during this holiday season but year-round.”
“Our success as a bank is rooted in the success of our community,” Tracey Craig, president and CEO of Woodsfield Savings Bank, said. “Supporting local businesses, families, and our community isn’t just good business — it’s the heart of who we are. We are honored to once again partner with WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital in the betterment of our community. We hope the holiday banners add to the wonderfully festive feeling that can be found on Main Street in Barnesville.”
