Miltonsburg Picnic Brings Success
Parishioners and families from St. John the Baptist Church served meals to 520 visitors at the church’s annual picnic this year.
The picnic took place Sunday afternoon with attendees enjoying a meal of chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, noodles, drinks, desserts and more. Several prizes were won by lucky ticket purchasers.

Barnesville Village assistant fiscal officer Chris Mellinger said everyone was very happy with how the picnic went.
“We had a great turnout. Weather was perfect,” she said. “It was a beautiful day, a huge success.”
