BMS Student Wins State and ATVMX Championships

Coy Jackson, 11, who will enter 6th grade at Barnesville Middle School next week, was crowned Ohio and National ATVMX champion last weekend at Briercliff MX at Nashport, Ohio.

Jackson has been racing since the age of five alongside his older brother, Cash, two time National Champion, who will be a freshman at Barnesville High School this year.

The brothers travel the country visiting multiple states to compete in the sport of quad motocross racing accompanied by their parents, Ty and Chelsey Jackson.

Coy was happily joined by his parents, Ty and Chelsey Jackson, and his older brother, Cash, at the national competition last weekend.

“Out of 16 motos this season on his 70 Shifter JB Mod, Coy won 14 motos and pulled the holeshot in 10 of those races,” mother Chelsey said.
