Monday, August 11, 2025
5:11 am – officer on Brill Street regarding a traffic stop.
9:45 am – caller advising of a truck in the water department office lot. The truck has been there for 3 weeks.
12:24 pm – Ohio State Patrol called regarding a dump truck with no cover and losing gravel on South Route 800. Officer had negative contact with the truck.
12:30 pm – officer on East Main Street checking on a couple of kids that wrecked on a scooter. Mother was notified of the accident.
12:40 pm – Monroe County Sheriff’s department called regarding a found debit card for a person possibility living in Barnesville.
1:38 pm – person on station speaking to an officer regarding getting his tool box from another person.
4:57 pm – caller from Carl Street regarding her son picking up a tin from the sidewalk on South Chestnut Street. The tin was being offered for free. Inside the tin of tools were several tiny bullets. Caller wants an officer to pick the bullets up, but I advised her to make contact with the original owner to see if they want the bullets back.
5:06 pm – caller from South Lincoln Avenue regrding a person hitting her dog in the apartment. She advised he had been yelling at the dog all day and wants to speak with an officer. Officer spoke with the caller.
5:43 pm – caller asking if we dispose of bullets. She advised the previous owner doesn’t want the bullets returned. I advised her she can dispose of them per a reply from an officer.
8:25 pm – officer giving a woman a ride from South Chestnut Street to the museum.
8:09 pm – officer attempting to serve Mayor’s court appearance for property maintenance.
9:13 pm – officer at the airport with several juveniles.
9:41 pm – officer attempting to service notice for an appearance in Mayor’s court.
11:13 pm – officer at the park with juveniles.
Tuesday, August 12, 2025
1:50 am – officer out on East Main Street regarding 2 suspicious vehicles. Officer advised them to leave the area.
7:03 am – alarm drop on East Main Street for a rear basement door. I made contact with an employee and all is okay.
8:31 am – caller from Railroad Street regarding neighbors building a house behind his property and they keep driving through his yard. Officer talked to people and advised them to stop driving through the neighbor’s property.
10:22 am – caller states she was coming for fingerprints and ended up in the street department garage. She states she is stuck inside and can’t get back out. She is requesting assistance.
10:27 am – female locked in the AT&T building that is next door to the municipal building. I contacted an employee of AT&T and assisted her out of the building.
12:02 pm – employee from the Barnesville Hospital Emergency room called regarding a patient that was discharged over an hour ago. The patient is still in the emergency waiting room and causing problems and refusing to leave. Employee is requesting an officer for assistance. The patient left and is heading east into town. Officer passed the individual and is requesting another officer for assistance. A hit confirmation sent and confirmed by the Cambridge Police department. Officer transporting the individual to meet with a Cambridge police officer.
1:32 pm – caller from Pine Lane regarding a front door glass was broken. Person was wanting to report it. Officer discovered when the person was mowing a rock flew up and hit the glass in the door.
5:42 pm – alarm drop on Mill Street for a front door alarm. All good.
5:59 pm – female on station regarding an officer telling them they need to move their car. She wasn’t sure because her car is 10 feet from the stop sign and the ordinance says it has to be a least 30 feet.
7:31 pm – caller from McGhee Drive regarding a noise complaint about someone on a four-wheeler.
11:15 pm – caller asking if we cover the Pilot station in Morristown. I transferred the call to 911.
Wednesday, August 13, 2025
12:57 am – officer on East Main Street regarding a traffic stop.
7:44 am – officer on West Main Street in regards to a traffic stop. Officer gave a warning for red light.
9:17 am – medical emergency on Carrie Avenue in regarding a cardiac arrest.
10:52 am – caller from North Chestnut regarding gasoline leaking from a car. I advised the Fire Chief and he will be enroute to put material on it.
11:39 am – private property accident on East Main Street. No injuries reported.
1:04 pm – caller from Neva Avenue regarding a wire down in the driveway. Neighbor will be calling Comcast.
1:10 pm – officer on West Church Street regarding a semi-truck stuck trying to make a turn onto West Church Street from North Broadway Street and can’t make the turn.
1:20 pm – officer on Neva Avenue regarding a semi-truck attempting to turn around.
2:20 pm – medical alarm company called for an alarm at Mulberry Street. I transferred the call to 911.
2:57 pm – caller reported a hit skip in Walgreen’s parking lot. Person has video of the accident and has information of the other party.
3:23 pm – called Comcast in regards of a cable line down on Bond Avenue.
4:56 pm – caller reporting a person in a wheelchair on Pine Lane.
5:00 pm – male and female on station filing reports.
8:05 pm – officer on East Main Street regarding a traffic stop.
9:25 pm – officer on Washington Street regarding domestic trouble.
11:26 pm – officer on East Church Street regarding a traffic stop.

1:36 am – officer regarding a warrant service. Officer transporting 1 male and 1 female in custody to jail.
10:06 am – caller regarding a suspicious man.
1:34 pm – Ohio State Patrol called in regards to a reckless vehicle that just exited I-70. Officer had negative contact with the vehicle.
4:11 pm – two females on station filling out reports to an incident.
4:14 pm – private property accident on East Main Street.
4:45 pm – male dropped off a lost cell phone. Owner was contacted and picked up the phone.
5:28 pm – officer on East Main Street regarding a traffic stop.
6:54 pm – caller from Fair Street regarding a suspicious vehicle. All is well.
8:42 pm – officer on Shamrock Drive regarding a traffic stop. Officer gave a warning for a headlight.
11:45 pm – officer on Sycamore Street with the emergency squad.
Friday, August 15, 2025
11:24 am – officer on scene and a person requesting the emergency squad for a person with chest pains.
11:24 am – caller from the Barnesville Park in regards to a raccoon that came out of the last shelter with a can stuck on its head. I advised an officer but he is busy on an emergency call. Caller advised him and a park employee got the can off the raccoon’s head and it ran into the woods.
3:29 pm – officer on East Main Street regarding a vehicle lockout.
3:36 pm – caller in regard to a tanker truck leaking liquid out of the top of the tank on Bond Avenue. She states she doesn’t think it is water.
5:09 pm – caller from Bond Avenue regarding a jeep parked in the middle of the roadway. Caller states she is not able to get to her house. Officer advised he doesn’t see any vehicle parked in the roadway. I attempted to call the caller back 2 times and didn’t make contact.
6:33 pm – officer on Henderson Street in regard to a traffic stop.
7:13 pm – general burger alarm drop at the Barnesville Hospital. Alarm company called and advised to disregard and cancel. Passcode was accidently entered.
10:01 pm – officer on East Main Street in regard to a traffic stop.
Saturday, August 16, 2025
11:13 am – caller from Bethesda Street in regard to a female laying in the grass with a vehicle nearby. Female is fine and just waiting on someone to meet her at the storage units.
11:57 am – caller reporting an irate male in Byesville. I advised he called Byesville.
2:01 pm – officer attempting warrant service.
3:04 pm – caller from East Main Street regarding a SUV with a hatch open for a while. Officer checked out the issue and everything is fine.
4:00 pm – officer on Prospect Street regarding a warrant service. Hit sent and confirmed.
5:23 pm – caller from Park Street in regard to cars parking in the no parking zone at the football stadium. Caller states it is becoming a problem once again. Officer went to the stadium and started issuing parking tickets.
6:15 pm – caller regarding a vehicle in a ditch on dump road. 911 called and stated the vehicle is waiting on a tow.
7:25 pm – I received 5 more calls about the vehicle in the ditch.
8:01 pm – officer on East Main Street in regard to a traffic stop.
9:00 pm – caller from South Chestnut Street regarding a suspicious kid walking around with a red hoodie, jeans and a back pack and walking with a limp. Caller states he is near the Family Dollar area.
10:45 pm – 911 radioed regarding an open line and can hear a male and female. Male has physical injuries and took off in an unknown direction. Officer advised needing an emergency squad. This was a domestic situation on Henderson Street.
Sunday, August 17, 2025
12:16 am – officer on East Main Street in regard to a traffic stop near McDonalds.
8:37 am – male on station in regard to a male with a shopping cart laying in the grass right past Hillcrest. Caller wondering if he is taking a nap or passed out. Officer out with the male and he is fine and will be on his way.
8:55 am – received several more calls in regard to the male walking down Route 800 with a shopping cart.
6:13 pm – caller from North Street in regard to talking to an officer about someone stealing her dog on July 16. She stated her case workers took her dog and never brought it back.
8:55 pm – officer on North Route 800 near the ballfields regarding a traffic stop.
