In this week’s Twice-Told Tales Redux, it was reported in 1990 that the Barnesville Development Council planned its first community calendar fundraiser. The 1991 calendar was a sellout.
Over the past 35 years, up through this year, a calendar fundraiser has profiled older images on a variety of subjects in the greater Barnesville area.
When the Development Council folded, the project was picked up by the Watt Center for History and the Arts. This year, the Watt group handed the project off to the Barnesville State Theater Company.
