Shannon Ann (Dippel) Kohler

Shannon Ann (Dippel) Kohler. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Shannon (Dippel) Koher, 43, of Bellaire, Ohio. Shannon passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Sienna Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation in Adena, Ohio. She was born on May 1, 1981, in Astoria, NY to the late Thomas J. and Maureen A. (Smith) Dippel.

Shannon was a graduate of Barnesville High School and had a passion for cosmetology. Anyone that knew her, knew her generous nature and that she was the happiest when she was with her sons.

Shannon is survived by her three loving children, Aidan (Kassidy) Dippel, Masyn Koher, and Braxton Koher and grandson Kacen Dippel. She is also survived by her sister, Kelly (Rob) Reustle, niece Reese and nephew Robert of Massapequa Park, NY. Shannon was married to Aaron Koher.

Shannon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Though she has been taken from us too soon, her spirit will live on in the memories we cherish and in the special bond she shared with her sons and grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 2pm with Fr. Dave Cornett officiating at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 32118 Temperanceville Rd, Quaker City, OH 43773. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shannon’s memory to the Catholic Women’s Club c/o Assumption Church, 306 West Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
