Gerald “Jerry” E. Andrecht

Gerald “Jerry” E. Andrecht, 76, of Byesville, passed away Saturday (September 27, 2025) surrounded by his family at OhioHealth Southeastern Med, Cambridge.
He was born September 3, 1949 in Bellaire, son of the late John Andrecht and Edna (Grodhaus) Andrecht.
A graduate of Shadyside High School, Ohio University, and Industrial Institute of Pittsburgh, Jerry was hired by Fabri Form Inc. on February 15, 1982 and worked in the management department for many years where he later retired.
Jerry was a US Navy veteran, having served from 1969 to 1972 and earning the rank of E/4.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan A. (Baboul) Andrecht, who passed away February 16, 2023. They were married June 1, 1974. Also deceased are two brothers, David Andrecht and John E. Andrecht; one sister, Cookie Cutlip; and two brothers-in-law, Dave Cutlip and Joe Ash.
He is survived by a daughter, Heather (Kyle) Goodright of Byesville; one sister, Connie Ash of Carmel IN; two granddaughters, Martina (Joe) Wheeler of Byesville and Marisa (Collin) Streiff of Salesville; three great-grandsons, Ryder Wheeler, Colsen Streiff, and Dallas Streiff; several nieces & nephews; and his special friends, Richard “Dick” and Connie Reed.
No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. Black Epperson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
