Western Belmont County excerpts from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Call Logs covering various dates from September 25 through October 1 are reported below.

September 25, 2025

10:37 am — National Road, Belmont. A deputy at this location called Hoof and Paws for an abandoned cat. The house had been cleared out with no food or water for the cat. The locks were changed, and Hoof and Paws took the cat. Charges are pending for the animal abandonment.

September 26, 2025

4:40 pm — Hall Boston Rd, Barnesville. The caller reported an active domestic complaint. Deputies responded, and one female was arrested for domestic violence. She was taken to Barnesville to be cleared and then to jail.

6:03 pm — Glencoe Rd, Glencoe. The caller stated that when he came home, his Razor side-by-side was burnt to the ground. The caller did not require the fire department’s assistance, but wanted to file a report.

7:12 pm — Belmont Morristown Rd, Morristown. A business had an alarm drop for hallway motion. The alarm company called and cancelled because the proper passcode was given.

9:37 pm — Trails End, Belmont. The deputy stopped a vehicle for something metal hanging down under the vehicle, causing little sparks on the road.

11:38 pm — Frontier Rd, Belmont. The caller reported knocking on her door and could hear pounding on her house. The area was patrolled, but nothing was found.

September 27, 2025

12:47 am — N Main St, Bethesda. A deputy did a wellness check on a woman who had been heavily drinking and was not answering her phone. The adult son was not answering his phone either. When the deputy made contact, the female said that she was fine. She stated that they were having an argument and that the caller was upset that she was not answering her phone.

1:16 am — Mile Marker 210 eastbound Interstate 70. The deputy assisted an occupied disabled vehicle by following the vehicle to get it pulled off the roadway.

7:12 pm — Church St, Fairpoint. The caller stated that his neighbor was speeding down the alleyway in front of his home. The deputy spoke with both parties, finding that there was a long history of issues between the two. The deputy advised a Civil Protection Order.

7:51 pm — W Main St, Barnesville. A patient was brought in by squad from Love’s, and he was unable to get back to his semitruck. A deputy gave the man a ride to his truck.

9:26 pm — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. An employee locked their keys in their vehicle. The deputy unlocked the vehicle.

September 28, 2025

5:23 am — Hall-Boston Rd, Barnesville. The caller complained about a barking dog at the address. A unit checked the area and attempted contact with the residence.

12:05 pm — North Rd/Salem Ridge Rd, Barnesville. A unit was out with a disabled vehicle at the location.

9:07 pm — Mt Hope Rd, Flushing. The caller stated a neighbor saw a car and someone walking on his property. Additionally, no one was home. A deputy responded and found all buildings secure, and nothing appeared tampered with.

9:34 pm — Wood St, Flushing. The caller reported that a window was broken out of his vehicle in the driveway. A deputy responded to take information for a report.

September 29, 2025

5:45 pm — Flushing. Deputies enroute to the location for a report of a female overdose. The emergency squad was on the scene.

5:55 pm — Exit 208, Interstate 70. A deputy went to the location to move a drum off the roadway.

8:37 pm — Bel-Morr, Belmont. While carrying out a traffic offense, the deputy received a partial hit that the vehicle was stolen.

8:41 pm — Stein Rd, Belmont. There was a raccoon in a house. The raccoon was removed.

September 30, 2025

12:31 am — Virginia St, Bethesda. An emergency squad responded to a youth exhibiting seizure activity, and he was not breathing. The child started to breathe, and they refused treatment.

10:03 am — S Johnson Rd, Bethesda. The caller requested that he wanted to speak to a deputy about received threats. When the deputy called back, the caller explained that a man, who had done some odd jobs for him and had stolen from customers, was sending the caller threats.

7:40 pm — Key-Bellaire Rd, Jacobsburg. A suspicious person was reported. A man was found sleeping near the pavilion. He would not communicate with the caller. The man was with the squad.

October 1, 2025

2:39 am — E Captina Hwy, Jacobsburg. A deputy moved a dead deer from the left lane.

12:36 pm — E Main St, Flushing. A deputy went to the address because a water meter lock was cut off. Information was taken for a report. The water department turned the water off and locked it again.

9:01 pm — Maple/Virginia Ave, Bethesda. A deputy gave a warning for defective equipment.

9:12 pm — Barnesville Bethesda Rd/Shamrock Dr, Barnesville. A deputy issued a warning for defective equipment.

9:26 pm — E Main St, Barnesville. A deputy warned a driver for defective equipment.
