Ohio Public Works Subcommittee Meeting Planned
The Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) County Subcommittee meeting for Belmont County is set for November 5 at 1 p.m. at the county commission office in the courthouse.
Subcommittee members are Belmont County Engineer Terry Lively, Commissioner J.P. Dutton, Martins Ferry Mayor John Davis, a township trustee elected by the Belmont County Trustees Association, and a fifth member appointed by the group.
In addition to selecting the 5th members, the purpose of the meeting is to prioritize applications received within Belmont County that seek funding in Round 40 from OWPC.
The meeting is open to the public.
