Circleville Winner Claims Ohio Title
CIRCLEVILLE – The weigh off champ in Circleville at this week’s Circleville Pumpkin Show was a 1,972 lb. entry grown by Mike and Dusti Helberg.
The winning entry is 20 lbs. more than the Barnesville King Pumpkin of 1,952 lbs. grown by Bill Neptune of New Concord.
The second and third place winners at Circleville tipped the scales at 1,663 and 1,567 pounds.
The festival that dates to 1903 runs through Saturday night.
