Christopher Columbus Knight, Jr.
Christopher “Chris” Columbus Knight, Jr., 73, of Barnesville, Ohio formerly of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was born on February 20, 1952, in Rock Hill, South Carolina to the late Christopher Columbus and Viola (Cash) Knight, Sr.
Chris graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1970. He was known for his unwavering honesty and his ability to connect with anyone he met. A man who never spared a word, he found great joy playing church-league softball at Mount Gallant Church of God. Chris was an enthusiastic supporter of both the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Georgia Bulldogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Debbie Knight.
Chris is survived by his children, Michael (Tonya Arbogast) Knight of Barnesville and Bonnie (Drew) Faile; grandchildren, Haiden Arbogast, Michael Knight, Jr., Addisin McDonald, Jacob Burgess, Jr., Rylibelle Faile, and Viola Faile; one great-grandchild on the way; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In honoring Chris’ wishes, there will be no services held. Care is entrusted is to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
