Switzerland Water District Issues Boil Order
48-Hour Order Issued Christmas Eve
The Switzerland of Ohio Water District has issued a precautionary 48-hour boil advisory due to waterline repairs for all of our service connections in Somerton, Malaga, Miltonsburg, Woodsfield, Jerusalem and Beallsville. This boil advisory will expire on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Water should be vigorously boiled for at least one minute prior to human consumption or dental hygiene use. We do not recommend washing any white or light colored clothing during the boil order period as you may experience times of discolored water and or low water pressure. An all-call has been sent out to all customers affected. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
