The Victorian Mansion Museum Celebrates the Christmas Season

Decorators gathered at the Victorian Mansion Museum on Wednesday evening to see their efforts come together and celebrate the start of the Christmas season with music and food.

Chairperson of the Christmas tour committee Kathy Messenger and member Beverlee Hardy wanted to have an evening to celebrate the work put into the museum’s Christmas season. More than 50 volunteers decorated 26 rooms, each one reflecting this year’s theme, “Father Christmas.”

“It takes a village …,” Messenger said. “We wanted to give something back to them.”

Local middle school student Bryar Shilling sang tunes for the evening as decorators listened before enjoying refreshments and mingling.
