Linda Irene Brown

Linda Irene (Dojack) Brown, 80, of Powhatan Point, Ohio died on Monday, December 22, 2025 Liza’s Place in Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born June 13, 1945 a daughter of the late John and Mildred (Hess) Doack of Shadyside, Ohio.

She was a Presbyterian by faith. She graduated from Shadyside High School in 1963 and started to work for Consolidation Aluminum Corp. in September 1963.

On June 25, 1966 she married Leland Brown of Powhatan, who passed away on November 18, 2008. They were married for 43 years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Dojack and sister, Marge LaRoche.

Together Linda and Leland had two children and four grandchildren; son, Ed (Janelle) of Powhatan Point, Ohio; daughter, Dr. Stacey (Dr. Bill) Brown-Brocklehurst of Belmont, Ohio; grandchildren, Abby, Cece, Kaine, and Jodee… all whom she loved very much!

She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Renee (Rod) Skoglund, Heather (Eric) Booth, Chad Dojack, Joshua Wade, Eric Wade, Nicole Pasco (deceased); great-nieces and nephews, Luke, Olivia (Hector), Claudia (Tanyon), McKenna, Austin, Delaney, and Jaide.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to IC Care, Belmont Manor, and Valley Hospice for their wonderful care of Linda.

Family and friends are to be received on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio from 10:30am until time of service at 12:30pm with Rev. Timothy Wilt officiating. Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
