9:48 am – officer at the Somerton Fire House to meet with Monroe County Sheriff’s officer.

10:06 am – officer on East Walnut Street for a traffic stop.

12:34 pm – officer on East Main Street for a car that slid into a tree due to icy road conditions.

12:50 pm – officer on South Broadway Street for a disabled vehicle.

1:03 pm – office on Sleepy Hollow Drive assisting another unit.

8:11 pm – officer on Wiley Avenue for a follow up.

8:25 pm – officer on Law Street for a vehicle lockout.

6:52 am – officer on West Main Street for a vehicle lockout.

11:31 am – officer on Pine Lane for a vehicle lockout.

1:33 pm – officer on East Main Street near Warren Avenue for a traffic stop. Warning given for a cracked windshield and brake lights.

2:44 pm – officer on North Chestnut Street near Cherry Street for a traffic stop.

3:47 pm – officer on Vine Street for a traffic stop.

3:48 pm – officer on East Main Street assisting emergency squad.

6:28 pm – caller from West Main Street reports witnessing a woman pull out of a driveway on Washington Street, hit a parked car and that car hit another car.

7:05 pm – officer on Washington Street assisting another unit.

9:44 pm – officer on Laws Street for a traffic stop.

10:38 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.

10:42 pm – person on station with a dog that she found on Bond Avenue. Thinks it is her neighbor’s but doesn’t know the name or address. She knocked on their door, but no one answered. She advised she could keep the dog until the owner claims the dog.

10:16 am – officer on Railroad Street for a traffic stop.

11:10 pm – officer on South Gardner Street for a traffic stop.

2:39 pm – officer at the school lot for a traffic stop. Citation issued.

3:59 pm – officer on North Arch Street for a traffic stop.

5:22 pm – officer on East Main Street near the Library for a traffic stop.

6:00 pm – officer at the Riesbeck’s lot for a traffic stop. Warning given for a headlight.

6:09 pm – officer at the Wendy’s lot for a traffic stop.

6:22 pm – officer on West Main Street near Dominos for a traffic stop. Warning was given for driving without headlights on.

7:01 pm – officer on East Main Street near Beeology for a traffic stop.

8:06 pm – caller from Brill Street reports a SUV parked at the 2nd stop sign obstructing the view. Officer contacted owner. The vehicle will be moved.

9:53 pm – officer on East Main Street near the BellStores for a traffic stop.

10:17 am – officer on North Broadway Street for a neighbor complaint.

2:04 pm – person on station regarding seeing a male yesterday appearing to be asleep in a truck. The person is there again today. Officer spoke to the male. He is doing construction work and taking a break. All is ok.

8:10 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.

8:37 pm – officer on North Lincoln Avenue with the fire department for a possible structure fire. Officer reported that there is no fire. Smoke only.

11:05 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street for a traffic stop.

12:35 am – officer on Barnesville-Bethesda Road for a special detail.

1:41 am – officer on Morgantown Avenue investigating a complaint.

1:45 pm – officer at Ohio Hills Health Center for a lockout.

2:54 pm – officer on East Main Street near Save A Lot for a traffic stop.

3:27 pm – officer on Shamrock Drive for a traffic stop.

4:41 pm – officer on South Gardner Street for an accident. No injuries reported.

4:43 pm – officer on East Main Street for a vehicle lockout.

5:12 pm – residential alarm drop on South Chestnut Street. All is secure.

9:21 pm – officer on Douglas Road for a traffic stop.

9:42 pm – officer on West Main Street near Dominos for a traffic stop.

Saturday, December 20, 2025

12:09 am – officer on East Main Street near Dollar General for a traffic stop.

3:15 am – officer near the reservoir for a traffic stop.

3:20 am – officer on Morgantown Avenue for a traffic stop. Tow truck called. Driver citation for Driving Under Suspension.

12:06 pm – caller reports an ex-employee is inside the business office sleeping. On call back,  the person has departed.

1:52 pm – officer at Barnesville Manor assisting emergency squad.

2:32 pm – caller reports neighbor got into his face and they would like to file a police report. The incident happened in Hendrysburg, out of jurisdiction. Caller provided Belmont County Sheriff’s phone number.

5:25 pm – officer at the Wendy’s parking lot for a traffic stop.

6:33 pm – Fowler Avenue caller reports  people riding a loud side-by-side all day and night long.. Officer had negative contact with the side-by-side.

7:04 pm – officer on Ohio Street for a traffic stop.

7:43 pm – officer at J’s Garage for a traffic stop.

7:50 pm – caller from East Church Street reports a person is present who was told before that he is not permitted to on the property. Officer ran a check discovering positive hits from Monroe County and Cambridge law enforcement agencies. Man detained and turned over to Monroe County Sheriff’s officer.

Sunday, December 21, 2025

1:09 am – investigating a complaint.

4:19 am – caller from South Lincoln Avenue reports a verbal domestic situation between a male and a female. They are in a parking lot and sometimes in a vehicle. Officer had negative contact with the two.

6:10 am – investigate a complaint.

8:24 am – officer on traffic control on North Route 800 for a sand truck blocking the roadway.

11:24 am – officer on North Lincoln Avenue for a medical emergency.
