Charity D. Lavey

Charity D. Lavey, age 34 of Salesville, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Ohiohealth Southeastern Med. She was born on February 28, 1991 in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of Amanda M. (Shaffer) Lavey and Kevin E. Lavey.
Charity graduated from Treca Digital Academy. She had a love for cats and had owned quite a few over the years. Charity enjoyed doing puzzles and playing on the tablet but above all, she dearly loved her family.
She leaves: her parents Kevin and Amanda Lavey; sisters Amber (& Matt) Roush from Springfield, Sarahbeth (& Jonathon Snyder) Lavey of Salesville and a brother Bradley (& Mallory Jones) Lavey of Salesville; nieces and nephews, Nevaeh Lavey, Travis (& Andrea) Roush, Kennedy (& Zach) Snyder and Austin Roush; her maternal grandmother Dorothy Lowe; uncles and aunts, Garry (& Cherry) Fenton of Conover, Ohio, Michael (& Sonya) Shaffer of California, Fred (& Jen) Lowe of Florida, Neva Lowe of Fairborn, Ohio, Dale Lowe of Fairborn, Ohio, and Harley Knisley of Springfield, Ohio and many other extended family members.
Charity is preceded in death by: her grandpa David Lowe Sr., her grandpa Bernard Shaffer, and grandparents Wilma and Chalmer Lavey.
