Shamrocks are 6th Consecutive Duals Champs
The Shamrock wrestlers took their 6th consecutive Bill Hinegardner OVAC 3A Duals Championship Thursday night at Moundsville’s John Marshall Fieldhouse.
In the semifinals, the Number 1 Seed ‘Rocks took advantage of the Wheeling Central Maroon Knights 61-12.
In the championship round, Barnesville came out on top over Number 2 Seed Martins Ferry, 40-22 to claim the crown.

During the action at John Marshall, Junior Colt Carpenter, who wrestles in the 150-weight class, achieved his 100th career win!
Steubenville Big Red won the 5A Crown 46-35 over the Wheeling Park Patriots.
The tournament was postponed one day due to weather conditions. The OVAC 1A/2A and 4A Duals will take place Friday night at Brooke High in Wellsburg.
