JB Green Team Sets Community Cleanup Dates
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – The JB Green Team (Jefferson- Belmont Regional Waste Authority) has set Belmont County townships clean up days for 2026.
The first western Belmont County collection date is Saturday, April 11, for Goshen Township. The following week, on April 18, collection at New Castle will cover Somerset, Washington and Wayne townships.
May 2 Warren Township and Barnesville residents will drop off items at the Barnesville B & O Depot. Electronics will also be collected on this day.
The spring collections end with Flushing Township and Holloway on June 6.
In the fall, western county collections will wrap up with Smith and Union townships.
The promotional flyer notes residents may participate in any scheduled clean up. “You are not restricted to your township.”
Collection hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A list of items accepted and those not allowed including used vehcile tires is posted on the agency’s website www.jbgreenteam.org. Information may also be obtained by calling the office at 740-296-5376.
