Shamrock Wrestlers Headed to State Duals
Shamrock varsity wrestlers came out on top during regional dual competition at home Saturday as part of Ohio High School Wresting Coaches Association match ups.
Barnesville won a lopsided 57-17 win over Bidwell River Valley of Gallia County in the first round and bested Garaway (Sugarcreek) 38-24.
Barnesville is the only OVAC team moving to state competition this coming weekend at Marion Elgin High School.
Hines Champ at Maysville Invitational
And, on Sunday, BHS standout freshman female wrestling team member, Ladyn Hines, won the Maysville Panther Middle School Invitational in the 115-lb. division. She won all five matches to claim the crown with a 5-0 record.
