Barnesville advances to play Edison High (2 seed) at Cadiz on Feb. 25

JV Boys Basketball
Barnesville – 49, Monroe Central – 46

Friday, February 21
Varsity Swimming
Three school records were broken by Barnesville Shamrock Swimmers at the Division II District Swim Championships at Ohio University Athens. The boys team competed in the morning, girls in the afternoon.
Heading on to state competition in Columbus this coming week are Antoni Schuerle and Liv McCrate, both of whom placed 4th at Athens.
200 Meter Individual Medley

Liv McCrate set a new school record time of 2:18.26 while placing fourth at the District.
100 Meter Breaststroke

Antoni Schuerle’s time of 1:01.19 is a new school record. He placed fourth in competition at Ohio University Athens.
200 Meter Medley Relay

The Barnesville team of Jack Carpenter, Antoni Schuerle, Maddox Whaley and Mason Starr claimed ninth place at Athens with a time of 1:49.93, a new school record.
Sunday, February 22
Barnesville Shamrock Varsity Cheerleaders compete at Big Walnut High School, Sunbury, for the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) state contest.
